Christina Crosland of Ever Editing

Mike Johnson Photo-08436.jpg

I strive to make books their best. When I was young, I read any book that I could find. I scoured my parents’ bookshelves, leaving no book untouched. That passion for reading grew into a passion for getting powerful stories on the shelves by filling plot holes, fixing typos, and creating flattering layouts.

My editing experience started as an academic writing tutor over ten years ago. Since then, I have helped both nonfiction and fiction writers like you with developmental edits, line edits, copyedits, proofreads, typesetting, and cover design. I have been published in international magazines and have edited for a world-wide organization.

I have a BA in humanities with an emphasis in foreign literature and a minor in editing. If I could, I would transport myself and my family to Rivendell, though I wouldn’t mind second breakfast at the Shire either. I love being right-brained, homeschooling my daughters, and cuddling with my cats.

I am ready to help you bring your work-in-progress closer to publication. I have edited for academic journals, universities, and many individuals. I'm excited to work with you and your project next!

What can I help you create?

What Clients Say

“As a writer, finding an editor can be a challenge. Our writing is personal and we want whomever we choose to help us make the story shine to love it just as much as we do. When I found Ever Editing, I didn’t know that I’d hit the jackpot. . . . Their attention to detail was unmatched. (Who knew eye color could be such an overlooked item!) Beyond their professionalism and speed, they truly supported and cared for the story itself. They also made me feel understood and valued as a writer. I am so grateful for their guidance throughout the writing process and cannot wait to continue working with them on my next book! And every book I write for the rest of forever.”
